As you know every year I ask for donations to my team FOR MY Birthday this month. For the past 7 years I have made it my mission to raise much needed funds for our local tri-state chapter.  I am participating in the Lupus Loop and Virtual Walk to End Lupus Now Philadelphia on October 30, 2022. 

As most of you know, I’ve battled autoimmune diseases most of my life, but nothing stopped me,, UNTIL LUPUS HIT 12 years ago.... I am now totally physically disabled- after working hard all my life - So I will BATTLE AND FIGHT FOR A CURE FOR LUPUS! -FAMILY & FRIENDS PLEASE JOIN ME in my fight by making a donation,joining the team, fundraising, or just prayers & raising awareness . 

Our team is taking part in the Lupus Loop and Virtual Walk to End Lupus Now Philadelphia on October 30, 2022! Join us and discover the power you have to help end lupus! As you can see, it’s “virtual” so there is no in person walk this year... 

There are simple ways to raise funds for the cause, ask your employer/office to have a “wear purple day” for a $5.00 donation from each person (don’t forget to take a group photo!), sell pretzels for $1 each in the office, ask your company to match employees donations, donate an item to have coworkers buy chances for $1 to win the item, join up with a local establishment and host a Happy Hour and ask the establishment to donate a portion of the proceeds raised during that hour or for a specific food or drink item purchased...Use your imagination and come up with an idea and share it with the Team! 

The money I raise helps the Lupus Foundation of America, Philadelphia Tri-State Chapter in their mission to improve the quality of life for all people affected by lupus through programs of research, education, support and advocacy. This is especially supportive for the 45,000+ individuals living with the challenges of lupus in the Philadelphia Tri-State area.
